Swipe between notes, jump to the front, promote, delete, and place your cursor after navigating.
Design intent: Prioritize the present moment above organization or recall. Navigating Antinote should feel like dancing in your short-term memory.
Swipe
- Two-finger swipe left or right to go to the previous note or the next note.
- Swiping past the latest note will automatically create a new note.
- Swiping away from an empty note will automatically delete the empty note.

Jump to front
- This will bring you to the most recent note.

Promote
- This will move the current note to the front and make it the most recent note.

Delete
- This will delete the note. Deleted notes go to The Void, a recoverable trash — you can bring them back with File > Recover Notes from The Void….
- A confirmation warning is shown before deleting. If you've suppressed this warning and want to re-enable it, run this in Terminal:
defaults delete com.chabomakers.Antinote suppressDeleteWarning
Shortcuts
Entering a note after swiping
- After navigating to a note by swiping or with a shortcut, you can enter the note (reveal the typing cursor) by pressing one of the arrow keys. Up or left will allow you to enter from the bottom of the note, while down or right will allow you to enter from the top.
