Simple Markdown

The small set of markdown markers Antinote renders — headings, emphasis, and comments.

Design intent: Antinote is not a markdown editor. Use these to create basic emphasis and divisions.

  • #, ##, ### — Create a heading
  • **bold**, *italic*, ~~strikethrough~~, __underline__
  • // — Comment out a line (comments will remove the line from checklists and calculations)
  • As of 2.0, there are keyboard shortcuts for markdown formatting (⌘B bold, ⌘I italic, ⌘U underline, ⇧⌘X strikethrough, ⇧⌘H cycle heading) — see Formatting Shortcuts.

Shortcuts

  • ⌘ + / — Toggle comment for current / selected line(s)
